We were planning to replace our patio and to create a new shed base and after asking several companies to quote for us, we arranged for someone to do the work. After waiting some months they let us down at the last moment with the shed delivery only a week away. We found Peter advertising in the local paper and asked him for a quote. His suggestions for creating the shed base on an awkward sloping site were by far the best of all the companies who quoted. Peter's ideas stopped us making a mistake and spoiling the overall effect. The base looks very good and has been much admired by visitors. As for the patio, he returned a few weeks later and completed the patio very speedily, turning up when he said and clearing away. We are planning some further work in our garden to create walls, steps and a water feature and we will certainly be asking Peter to quote for the work. The work carried out by Peter and his team has transformed my house, the tarmac drive and plain paving slabs for path were removed and both are now a feature of the house. Peter is very keen to discuss work and design before offering a quote; he is very eager to please his customers and offers options for consideration. My path and patio were created in the worst weather possible for June/July. Frequently work had to stop because of downpours but they persevered as much as possible and only stopped when conditions were impossible. At all times they were considerate in keeping the area tidy, which at time was very difficult given the weather. All his team were pleasant and helpful and I would recommend any one of them as responsible, hard working, reliable people. Christine Hill --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To whom it may concern Letter of recommendation (Creative Driveway Solutions – Mr Peter North) Background information: We struggled initially to find a wiling contractor to undertake the work. After much frustration arranging surveys with various landscaping companies, only for them to not show up or provide ridiculous quotations/extended dates for commencement of the project, I decided to undertake the work myself. I contacted a local skip/ground clearance company to assist with site clearance and upon their visit, Peter North of Creative Driveway Solutions was recommended to complete the whole project. Peter showed up the same day, within 2 hours of being contacted, and we discussed the project in hand. Within one week Peter provided us with a very fair detailed quotation with an agreeable project start date, I was more than happy pass the project over to him. Project Summary: Peter was very thorough in his excavation of the site and the application of our specified design. He kept to his estimations on cost and time frame – all being within the agreed contract. Peter was very flexible in his approach when we decided to alter the design slightly, midway through the project, and even made suggestions which he thought would improve the design which we agreed too. The site was kept clean and tidy whilst the work was carried out, and all tradesmen involved were very friendly, approachable and professional. I am very happy with the standard of finish of Peter’s work, and had no qualms in recommending him to my father in-law, for whom Peter carried out another project similar to that as above. I myself will be contacting Peter in the future, for work on the front of my property.
